*) Note about the EXE files: The EXE files are self-contained videos I've created using the RAD Game Tools Bink format. Contrary to AVI and MOV files you don't install a video player or codec for them. The files also don't install anything themselves. The EXE files contain the respective video, the Bink player that automatically starts upon execution and the necessary codec. You run the EXE, enjoy the video and delete the file once you're done. The EXE files are compatible with Windows 98, NT and XP 32 and 64-bit. For Mac OS and Linux you find appropriate players on the Bink Downloads page. One downside of the EXE files with integrated player is the limited functionality of the Bink player compared to others. The two keys that influence the player are the Space key for pausing the video and the Escape key for ending it. A progress bar and a fullscreen feature are missing. |
